CERN will actively participate in this event with a stand entitled "11245 rotations per second" and two scientific workshops.
Muséum Genève invites the public and scientists to share an open-air evening on the theme of "cycles". A weekend to discover, dialogue, understand, laugh and marvel at scientific advances and issues in the company of specialists.
At the Museum of the History of Science
A wide range of activities awaits you at the museum: guided tours of the current exhibition "Par la force des choses", conferences, scientific shows and workshops. Follow a demonstration to understand how a steam engine works, learn about the history of military cyclists by Switzerland and in the world or technical foundations of the bicycle.
Science and games booths
Below the Museum of the History of Science, about twenty stands offer countless activities and games to deepen your knowledge and make new experiences. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the CERN stand and discover why and how the LHC accelerates protons to 99.9999991% of the speed of light, measure invisible things, harness the power of air, dig into a tunnel, and find out which particle best suits you.
