From 17 to 21 September Geneva will host the 13th European Conference on Applied Superconductivity. Co-organisers of the event CERN and University of Geneva are taking this opportunity to offer science discovery activities!
- Science Cafés
UNIGE organises science cafés in French and English in September, broaching topics as diverse as superconductive materials, exoplanets or biodiversity. The list of suggested topics and conditions are available (in French) here: https://www.unige.ch/public/jeunes-ecoles/cafesunige/
Dates: between 11 and 15 September, other possible date during the month to be discussed
Venue: in your school, within 30-40 km radius from Geneva
Group size: 60 people at most so that we can guarantee a qualitative exchange
Target age: as from 15-16 years old (Swiss collège, French lycée).

- S’Cool LAB workshops
CERN S’Cool LAB will welcome students for superconductivity hands-on workshops (in French and English). Come and experiment Physics in a unique venue!
Dates in French: 8 and 13 September
Dates in English: 6 and 15 September
Duration: from 13:00 to 17:30, mostly dedicated to workshops, but not only! Morning slots might be possible, subject to availability.
Group size: 24 pupils maximum per day
Target age: as from 17 years old (Swiss collège, French lycée) at the date of the workshop.
